Em 2006 eu comecei meus estudos na WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) em Londres - que foram fundamentais em minha formação e encorajaram-me a seguir adiante.
Em 2007 concluí o WSET Nível 3, e por oito meses deste ano fiz uma expedição em busca de experiências na área da viticultura em uma viagem que denominei Volta ao Mundo do Vinho (EUA, Argentina, Chile, Nova Zelândia, África do Sul, França).

De volta ao Brasil, trabalhei no comércio de vinhos em São Paulo e continuei os estudos com a FISAR (Federazione Italiana Sommeliers Albergatori Ristoratori) da qual recebi a cerificação como Sommelier Internacional.
De 2009 a 2010 residi e trabalhei com vinhos na Argentina, em Mendoza, em uma essencial etapa de minha carreira.
Com base no Brasil desde 2011, já colaborei intensamente para a exportação de vinhos brasileiros e atualmente me dedico a área de educação, serviço e entretenimento com o vinho em Florianópolis (SC).

I am Marcia Amaral a formerly Accountant; with a post degree in Business Management; who has left the homeland and career on 2002 searching for a real life change - what I found while living in London. There my interest for gastronomy rose and I found a passion for wine.
On 2006 I started my studies at the WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) and felt encouraged to study, to go and to travel further.
For 8 months of 2007 I was a wine-globetrotter seeking for viticulture experiences in a Round the World Trip. New World (Brazil, USA, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, South Africa) and Old World (France) were included in my ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
Back to Brazil, my beloved country, I worked in the wine trade in Sao Paulo and carried on my sommelier studies with FISAR (Federazione Italiana Sommeliers Albergatori Ristoratori).
Early 2009 I packed again to make my way to another international experience, at this time in the wine country of Argentina: Mendoza, where I lived, worked and had remarkable experience until December 2010.
Before returning to Brazil to continue my career - always in the wine field, I got into a new adventure, for more than 40 days in the Andean Countries of Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile, in a journey themed as Unpretentious Gourmet Tourism.
Since the beginning of 2011 I am back to Brazil, and now I am currently offering my services related to wine education and entertainment in Florianopolis, in the of Santa Catarina.
